Bali Trip - Day 2

After heavy schedule on Day 1 , our schedule for Day 2 was pretty simple.
I ordered sunny side up egg , hehe , to cheer up my day !


After Breakfast, we explored the nearest beach (around 8 mins walking distance) . The beach was crowded with surfers .. Indeed, I was told that morning is the best time for surfing.. (High tide in the morning) . This beach , opposite to Hard Rock hotel , is popular as very suitable for beginner in surfing as the wave not too high..


Then, we headed to our destination today - Bedugul .
While seating in the car , I had a chance to take photo on me by reflection..

Around 2 hrs , we reached Bedugul.
Wao ! Spectacular ! .. Words that only can desribe the view...

After sometime, slight rain pour from the sky :( .. We left and visited nearby market ..


We had a buffet lunch at nearby restaurant ( around 30 mins distance) recommended by the driver. The wonderful scenery here definitely is an attractive spot to tourist and even locals.



Raining heavily..


After lunch, we went to Villa at Seminyak that we booked online. Hehe, I will share the Villa's photos in the next blog entry...

Having couple of minutes rest in the villa, we went for dinner at Jimbaran where famous of seafood and Sunset ! We went to Sharkey's seafood Jimbaran recommended by our friend.

Bali Trip - Day 1

We arrived Ngurai Rai airport, denpasar in a very late night. The next day, considered as Day 1 Bali trip, we having simple breakfast in the hotel with balinese coffee...

Our destination would be Tegalalang market , but will passed by few famous spots , for instance sacred monkey forest sactuary, we decided have a short visit then.

Having some shots at the monkey, we continue our journey until we reached at the famous rice terraces 梯田.. Without hesitation, we dropped by to have some wonderful shots..

Vivid blue sky was simply wonderful at this moment.

Next, we reached Kintamani where one of the volcanoes located with a beautiful lake.. Referring to the map, the lake is called Lake Batur..

Finally, we reached Tegalalang market where "cutie" wood craftwork can be seen. We found that the prices were reasonable without bargaining. Indeed, it's really cheaper than other places and not possible for further price reduction.

Ya, we do feel hungry after a long trip and having a late lunch at Ibu Oka (Opposite Ubud Palace)

Raining during the late lunch, then we decided to rest and have early dinner at another famous restaurant - Bebek Bengil , for dirty duck dinner.

The restaurant just located beside the paddy field .


About 4.30pm , the rain stopped.. We heading to Tanah lot temple where located in an "island" during high tide.

The sky getting darker when we reached tanah lot temple around 5.45pm..

At night , we had supper at Dulang cafe which recommended by blogger.

East Coast Park @ 26 Apr 09

It's a sunny day that we had at East Coast Park. We purposely "left" Nynn Yue at house and having our bicycle riding at this well known park in Singapore.

And poor little car !! being Hit and Run ! .. We carefully inspected car parked behind us but do not find any scratch mark , must be hit and run.. :(
